Samarkand is the mysterious name of an impressive collection in which each carpet is crafted by hand in Auraya (India) and is unique. The basic secret behind this impressive combination of traditional elements and harmony of colors is the New Zealand wool used in the process of weaving and the presence of delicate motifs from Persia and the Caucasian region. The dyes used in the impregnation of the wool come from plants such as Nut Tree and Indigofera and Kermes. These works of art owe their ancient charm to thorough bathing in tea and herbs.
